the Next Right Thing

Next Right Thing Photo.jpg

Nothing gets our attention like an unmade decision: Should I accept the new position? Which schooling choice is best for my kids? How can I support my aging parents? When we have a decision to make and the answer isn’t clear, what we want more than anything is peace, clarity, and a nudge in the right direction.

If you have trouble making decisions, because of either chronic hesitation you’ve always lived with or a more recent onset of decision fatigue, Emily P. Freeman offers a fresh way of practicing familiar but often forgotten advice: simply do the next right thing. With this simple, soulful practice, it is possible to clear the decision-making chaos, quiet the fear of choosing wrong, and find the courage to finally decide without regret or second-guessing.

Whether you’re in the midst of a major life transition or are weary of the low-grade anxiety that daily life can bring, Emily helps create space for your soul to breathe so you can live life with God at a gentle pace and discern your next right thing in love.

Dr. Stuart Eldridge will present ways to help you navigate some of the inherent pitfalls facing children in middle school in our culture today - issues of self worth, bullying, social media boundaries, adequate sleep, etc.

Marriage to Last

Location: Clark County REMC Community Room, 7810 Highway 60, Sellersburg, IN

It all begins with “I DO.”
But soon after the honeymoon “WE DON’T!”
Why is it so hard to be patient, kind, not self-seeking, showing honor to our spouses, and all those things many of us had read at our weddings from 1 Cor. 13?

Debra Tally will share how SHE DID and how God has blessed her 37 year union with her husband, Robert.

She will encourage us with time-tested principles so WE CAN, too!

Debra L. Tally is a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in Marriage, Family & Child Psychotherapy. She is a graduate of California State University, holding a Master of Science degree and an undergraduate from Arizona State University. She and her husband, Robert, have one son and one furry four-legged golden retriever.
